Bengaluru Police Crackdown: Raids Uncover Unlawful Activities in Bars

In an intense nighttime operation, Bengaluru Police discovered violations of regulations in 19 city bars and restaurants. The operation was carried out after Commissioner Seemanth Kumar Singh received reliable information about illegal activities in the West zone.

Specialized teams targeted areas under the jurisdiction of Upparpet, Cottonpet, Kalasipalya, Cubbon Park, and Ashoknagar Police Stations. They found establishments employing provocatively dressed female servers and neglecting essential health and security protocols.

Further infractions involved the absence of female security personnel, poor hygiene in kitchens, and undisclosed smoking zones. Authorities have submitted reports for continued monitoring, warning of potential license revocations for repeated offenses.
