A Delhi court has reversed an earlier verdict that acquitted Harish Chandra of cheating, forgery, and account falsification charges. The Additional Sessions Judge, Sheetal Chaudhary Pradhan, ruled in favor of the state's appeal against the initial February 2023 decision.

Chandra faced accusations for acts committed in 2016 while employed at Indica Tour and Travels. He allegedly misused foreign currency exchanges and tampered with financial records, causing significant losses to the company.

Evidence presented by the prosecution included consistent witness testimonies and expert findings, convincing the court beyond a reasonable doubt of Chandra's fraudulent activities. The initial acquittal was set aside and Chandra was subsequently convicted under several sections of the IPC.
