Tragic Drowning in Betul: Two Young Lives Lost
A tragic incident occurred in Betul, Madhya Pradesh, where two young cousins, aged 12 and 10, drowned in a local dam. While their families were working on a nearby farm, the boys ventured to the dam. Despite swift efforts by the State Disaster Response Force, both bodies were recovered lifelessly.

Tragedy struck in Betul district of Madhya Pradesh as a 12-year-old boy and his 10-year-old cousin drowned in a local dam. According to a police official, the incident happened on Thursday afternoon.
The two boys, identified as Ravi, also known as Pappu, and Kaustubh, had accompanied their family members to a farm where sowing was underway. The duo wandered to the nearby dam and succumbed to accidental drowning while bathing.
The search operation, led by the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), successfully recovered one body on Thursday near Sawangi village, located 70 km from Betul's district headquarters. The second body was retrieved later, with authorities classifying the deaths as accidental.
