Amid Conflict: India Plans Evacuation from Israel

The escalating conflict between Israel and Iran has prompted the Indian government to issue evacuation advisories for its citizens residing in Israel. Israeli Ambassador to India, Reuven Azar, emphasized continuous dialogue with India's Ministry of External Affairs to ensure the safety of Indian nationals.

In light of escalating tensions and following an Iranian missile strike on a hospital in the Beersheba area, New Delhi announced plans for a strategic evacuation. The Ministry of External Affairs confirmed operations to facilitate Indian citizens' travel from Israel, initially via land and subsequently by air.

As part of a broader evacuation initiative dubbed 'Operation Sindhu', India is also orchestrating efforts to assist its citizens in Iran amid escalated hostilities. Israel's military actions, under 'Operation Rising Lion', have intensified the situation, leading to a series of reciprocal attacks with Iran.
