High-Profile Strikes: Key Iranian Commanders Eliminated
Israel's military confirmed the killing of Saeed Izadi and Benham Shariyari, commanders in Iran's Quds Force. Both were involved in arms transfers to Middle East proxies and played roles in the 2023 attacks on Israel. Their deaths are considered significant blows to Iran's Axis of Resistance.

Israel's Defense Minister, Israel Katz, announced on Saturday the military operation that resulted in the killing of Saeed Izadi, a veteran commander in the Quds Force, Iran's Revolutionary Guards' overseas arm. The operation targeted an apartment in Iran's Qom province.
Shortly after, reports emerged of a second strike killing Benham Shariyari, another commander, in western Tehran. Shariyari was reportedly involved in orchestrating weapons transfers to militant groups across the Middle East, supplying entities like Hezbollah and Hamas.
This strategic move marks a significant success for Israeli efforts, with the elimination of key figures opposing Israel's security. The Quds Force has faced setbacks recently, amplifying the impact of these orchestrated strikes within the ongoing regional conflict.
