In a significant police operation, a well-known member of the 'Thak-Thak' gang, Suraj alias Michael, was apprehended in Delhi's Inderpuri area, authorities confirmed on Saturday.

Suraj, a 32-year-old resident of South Delhi's Madangir, had been a proclaimed offender since December 2024, with a long history of criminal involvement, including robbery, burglary, and illegal arms possession.

His arrest marks a breakthrough in the crackdown on a syndicate headed by P. Silva, notorious for orchestrating snatchings and armed robberies. Despite previous arrests within the gang, Suraj had managed to escape until now.
