A notorious drug courier involved in a prominent narcotics case has been apprehended in Delhi's Uttam Nagar. Authorities have been on the hunt for Sanjeev Kumar Shah, 32, since a major cannabis seizure last year in Rajasthan.
Shah, who lived a double life as a cab driver to evade authorities, was wanted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. Police laid a trap following a tip-off and captured him as he arrived at a metro station.
Shah's criminal record includes involvement in another NDPS case in Haryana, where 313 kg of cannabis was seized. His arrest marks a significant breakthrough in ongoing drug trafficking investigations.
