Yemen's Houthis Poised for Retaliation Against U.S.
A Yemeni Houthi official has indicated that the group's retaliation against a U.S. attack on Iran is imminent. Mohammed al-Bukhaiti, of the Houthi political bureau, emphasized the ceasefire with the U.S. was prior to Iran's conflict. Actions against shipping lanes continue in solidarity with Palestinians.

A high-ranking Yemeni Houthi official declared that the faction's retaliation against the recent United States aggression on Iran is imminent. The assertive statement was made by Mohammed al-Bukhaiti, a notable figure within the Houthi political bureau, during an interview with Al Jazeera Mubasher TV.
Al-Bukhaiti highlighted that any ceasefire arrangement with Washington predates the current 'war' involving Iran. The statement underscores the fragile nature of regional peace deals amid escalating tensions.
Houthis have maintained pressure on regional waters and Israeli interests to signal their ongoing support for Palestinians in Gaza, even amidst a truce reached with Washington in May, trading cessation of attacks for an end to U.S. aerial bombardments of Houthi targets.
