Asaduddin Owaisi, leader of AIMIM, vehemently criticized the United States for its recent military strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities. Describing the move as a direct breach of international law, Owaisi pointed out that it contravenes both the United Nations Charter and the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT).
Owaisi, a member of the Lok Sabha from Hyderabad, expressed his apprehensions about the potentially destabilizing aftermath of the assaults. He speculated that the US actions might incite several Arab nations in the Middle East to actively pursue nuclear arsenals, driven by concerns over Israel's dominance.
He further accused the United States of turning a blind eye to atrocities in Gaza, while highlighting Israel's unregulated nuclear stockpile, stressing that these sensitive weapon sites remain unchecked by International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors.
