Delhi Police have apprehended four men involved in a daring robbery of a pastry shop owner in Patparganj, East Delhi. The incident occurred on June 20 when Vinod Kumar Sharma was ambushed by motorcycle-borne assailants near Bansal Sweets.
The attackers, armed with a knife, threatened Sharma, assaulted him, and made off with his car. Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abhishek Dhania, stated that multiple teams were deployed to locate the criminals following the incident.
After tracking the suspects via CCTV and call data, the police captured them near Sanjay Lake Metro Station. The suspects confessed to the crime, revealing they intended to sell the stolen vehicle in another state for quick cash, motivated by financial struggles.
