Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is in the nation's capital for a series of high-profile meetings. On Tuesday, Siddaramaiah is scheduled to meet President Droupadi Murmu at 11:20 am, followed by a meeting with Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman at 4:50 pm.
The Chief Minister aims to address the President on the pending approval of several bills, notably the 'Karnataka Transparency in Public Procurements (Amendment) Bill, 2025', which proposes contract reservations for the Muslim community. He also seeks to discuss with the Finance Minister and is awaiting an appointment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to cover topics presented to the 16th Finance Commission.
