National Security Adviser Ajit Doval on Tuesday called upon the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation to foster accountability in the fight against terrorism, emphasizing the need to reject double standards. His speech, given during a meeting of SCO security council secretaries in Beijing, implicitly urged action against Pakistan owing to cross-border terrorism.
Highlighting threats from groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, Al Qaeda, and their affiliates, Doval described terrorism as a 'crime against humanity.' He stressed the importance of holding perpetrators and supporters of terrorism to account, calling for their prosecution to dismantle the terror ecosystems.
Doval also detailed India's 'Operation Sindoor,' a strategic initiative to dismantle terror infrastructure and mitigate threats post the Pahalgam attack.
