Yalem Taga Burang Appointed Chairperson of Arunachal Pradesh Women Commission
The Arunachal Pradesh government has established the seventh state women commission, with Yalem Taga Burang as the new chairperson. The formation and operation are in line with the APSCW Act, 2002 and its amendment in 2005. Other appointees include Tsering Dolma and four additional members.

In a recent move, the Arunachal Pradesh government has unveiled the seventh body of its state women commission, naming Yalem Taga Burang as the newly appointed chairperson.
An official announcement from the Women and Child Development Department highlighted that this appointment was in compliance with the APSCW Act, 2002, alongside its 2005 amendment.
The commission will also be comprised of Tsering Dolma as vice-chairperson, with Kipa Kaya Rughu, Kotu Bui, Aben Mije, and Techi Nikhi Yab as members. The functioning and regulations of the new body will adhere strictly to the legal frameworks established in state laws.
