OAS Members to Protest: Mass Leave Amidst Assault Allegations

The Odisha Administrative Service Association announced a mass leave starting Tuesday, following an alleged assault on one of its senior officers. The decision emerged from a meeting led by association president Jyoti Ranjan Mishra on Monday.
According to reports, Ratnakar Sahoo, an OAS officer and Additional Commissioner for Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), was allegedly dragged from his office and attacked by miscreants, police sources confirmed.
The association's letter to district bodies declared their unified stance to commence a mass leave in protest of the attack's severity, which occurred blatantly during office hours. Police have arrested three individuals related to the incident.
