In a recent development, five individuals have been arrested in connection with the murder of a 22-year-old man named Manoj, according to a police statement issued on Monday.
The incident came to light on May 22 when Manoj's father, Ramakant, reported to the police that his son was brutally beaten with sticks and rods by unknown assailants, later succumbing to his injuries during treatment. The case, registered at Indiranagar police station, cited sections 105(3) and 61(2) of the BNS.
Following interrogations, the police arrested Sunny Kashyap, Salamu, Anup Kumar, Ranjeet Kumar, and Rehmat Ali. Sunny and Anup were employed as delivery boys, while Ranjeet worked at a mall. Authorities have recovered the rod and motorcycle allegedly used in the crime.
