Maharashtra Minister in Dance Bar Row: Allegations and Denials Unfold

Maharashtra minister Yogesh Kadam announced his intention to file a privilege notice against Shiv Sena (UBT) MLC Anil Parab, refuting allegations that tied him to a banned dance bar. Kadam challenged Parab's claims as groundless, defending his actions to enforce state-wide prohibitions on such establishments.

Kadam, addressing the media, highlighted plans to appeal to the legislative council's chairman to expunge Parab's remarks from the records. He criticized Parab for leveling accusations in his absence, arguing it violates legislative rules to comment on members not present.

Defending his integrity, Kadam dismissed claims of influencing a departmental interest. He stated that the sand accused of being misallocated was not suitable for construction and reiterated his departure from associated educational posts a year prior.
