The tragic case of a 15-year-old girl battling life-threatening injuries at AIIMS Delhi has taken a new turn as Odisha Police intensify their investigation. The minor sustained over 70% burn injuries in a brutal attack along the Bhargavi riverbanks in Puri district.
Despite the swift passage of 50 hours since the attack, authorities have not detained any suspects. Senior officers from the local Balanga police are now receiving assistance from the criminal investigation department, cybercrime experts, and special branch operatives to bring the perpetrators to justice.
Political figures including BJD and BJP MPs have visited the victim to inquire about her condition, which remains stable but critical, as efforts continue to save her life.
