Controversy Ignites Over Alleged Religious Conversion in Rajasthan School

In a developing controversy in Rajasthan's Sikar district, a local resident has accused a school teacher of attempting to forcibly convert his granddaughter, a Class 6 student, to another religion. The allegations have been strongly denied by the school's director, who refutes the claims as baseless.

According to the police, the accusation led to an FIR being lodged at the Neem ka Thana station. Bhanwar Singh, the complainant, alleged that a teacher at St Xavier's Secondary School not only made objectionable comments about Hindu deities but also resorted to physical punishment when the young girl objected to the remarks.

In defense, the school's director explained that the teacher merely reached out to the student's mother due to incomplete homework. The incident escalated after a conversation regarding disciplinary measures, leading Singh to accuse the teacher of attempting a religious conversion. Authorities, including the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, are now demanding a thorough investigation.
