High-Stakes Meeting in Tallahassee: Ghislaine Maxwell and the U.S. DOJ
Deputy U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche met with Ghislaine Maxwell in Tallahassee for a productive discussion. Maxwell is serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking. The meeting aimed to explore if Maxwell had further information. Meanwhile, the DOJ faces pressure over its Epstein investigation and a request to unseal documents was denied.

Deputy U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche met with Ghislaine Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year sentence, for what was described as a productive day by Maxwell's lawyer. The meeting in Tallahassee seemed to be an effort by the DOJ to gather more information related to their ongoing investigation.
Attorney David Oscar Markus stated that Maxwell answered all questions posed by Blanche, maintaining the confidentiality of the discussions. Blanche had approached Maxwell's legal team to see if she possessed additional details concerning illegal activities against victims.
Amidst this, the Justice Department is under increasing scrutiny, with pressure from former President Trump's supporters to release further details about their Epstein probe. Despite prior promises of transparency, the DOJ has since withheld more documents, yet seeks to unseal some grand jury transcripts.
