A man identified as Abhay Devdas Nayak, believed to be of Indian heritage, has faced court accusations in Scotland after causing a major disturbance on an easyJet flight from London Luton to Glasgow. He was heard loudly chanting contentious slogans which led to his arrest upon landing.

The incident, which unfolded on a Sunday morning flight, was captured on videos now circulating on social media. Nayak was heard shouting ''death to America, death to Trump'' and ''Allahu Akbar,'' sparking fears and prompting rapid action from fellow passengers and crew.

Nayak, originally from Luton in Bedfordshire, did not enter a plea while at Paisley Sheriff Court. Despite the alarming nature of his outbursts, officials confirmed he faces no terrorism charges. He remains in custody, facing charges under the Air Navigation Order, with a court appearance scheduled next week.
