A domestic altercation in Najibabad turned deadly as a husband allegedly murdered his wife on Monday night. The police have since apprehended the suspect.
According to the Additional Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Vajpayee, the tragic event unfolded at around 11 pm in the Alipura village, when 55-year-old Najakat reportedly attacked his 35-year-old wife, Saiba, with a knife. The attack resulted in Saiba's immediate death.
Sources indicate that Saiba, Najakat's second wife and a domestic worker, experienced frequent disputes with her husband. Authorities have initiated a comprehensive investigation into the case.
