The Gujarat Anti-Terrorist Squad has apprehended a woman from Karnataka for allegedly disseminating propaganda for Al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent, a recognized terrorist organization.

The accused, identified as Shama Parveen Ansari from Bengaluru, reportedly ran social media platforms with over 10,000 followers, promoting anti-India rhetoric and the ideology of banned preachers, according to an ATS statement.

Ansari's arrest follows the detention of four individuals last week, linked to a dismantled terror network accused of propagating the AQIS ideology online.
