The fatal accident took place around 11.30 am at Charbagh. The Army has identified the deceased as Lieutenant Colonel Bhanu Pratap Singh Mankotia and Lance Dafadar Daljit Singh and conveyed heartfelt condolences to their grieving families.

The vehicle was part of a convoy on a training move from Durbuk to Chongtas when the boulder fell, critically injuring five soldiers. Recovery efforts are ongoing as the wounded officers receive medical attention.
