The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is taking a significant step to bolster dispute resolution mechanisms by establishing the ICAI International ADR Centre. This initiative aims to promote alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods in India.

Announced by ICAI President Charanjot Singh Nanda in the capital, the centre is strategically positioned at the intersection of commercial, legal, and economic spheres, serving as a platform for structured and time-bound arbitration, mediation, conciliation, and negotiation services.

The centre has been established as a Section 8 company, focusing on transparency and technology-enablement. With over 4.5 lakh members, ICAI's initiative signals its commitment to strengthening the commercial dispute resolution ecosystem in the nation.
