Tragic Toddler Accident in Delhi: Authorities Launch Investigation
A tragic accident in Delhi's Uttam Nagar resulted in the death of a one-year-old boy struck by a pickup truck. The driver transported the victim and his mother to the hospital, where the child was declared dead. An FIR has been registered and an investigation is underway.

A one-year-old boy tragically lost his life after being struck by a pickup truck in Delhi's Uttam Nagar area, authorities confirmed on Friday.
DCP (Dwarka) Ankit Singh reported that the police received a PCR call on Thursday regarding an accident in Sahyog Vihar. Upon arrival, officers discovered that the driver had already taken the injured toddler and his mother to Aakash Hospital.
Regrettably, medical professionals declared the boy dead upon arrival. The child's body has been sent to DDU Hospital's mortuary pending an autopsy. The involved vehicle is now in police custody, and a FIR citing sections of rash driving and negligence has been filed at the Bindapur police station. Authorities are investigating to fully understand the sequence of events and establish accountability.
