In a growing political controversy, senior Congress leader Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa has accused jailed gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria of threatening his son. The Gurdaspur MP reported the matter to Punjab's DGP, claiming the incident occurred on Thursday.

Randhawa openly criticized the Punjab law enforcement system, alleging a collapse in state security. He cited an incident where associates of his son were fired upon and complained about objectionable comments targeting his son on social media. Randhawa blamed the AAP government for turning Punjab into a gangster haven.

AAP, in defense, asserted their zero tolerance policy for gangsterism and questioned Randhawa's motives. However, opposition leaders argue that if gangsters can intimidate politicians from prison, ordinary citizens are at even greater risk under the current regime.
