A Love Triangle Turns Deadly: The Highway Robbery Hoax

In a chilling murder case from Bareilly district, Uttar Pradesh, police have arrested Om Saran for allegedly killing his wife under the influence of his extramarital lover. Attempting to disguise the murder as a highway robbery, Saran's plan unraveled under police scrutiny.

The authorities became suspicious due to inconsistencies in Saran's initial statements. Upon examining his call records, they found his constant communication with a woman named Mannat, which prompted a deeper probe into the case.

Saran confessed that Mannat convinced him to eliminate his wife, Amarvati. He executed the murder under the pretense of a robbery, removing her jewellery and stealing cash. The police discovered the truth after recovering the murder weapon and concealed loot, and Mannat's involvement is currently under investigation.
