In a significant move, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has called for an official analysis of the judicial commission's report on alleged irregularities linked to the Kaleshwaram project under the previous BRS regime.
The state's Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao, alongside other senior officials, submitted the report to the Chief Minister in the presence of Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and ministers. The report demands urgent attention, as the cabinet is set to receive its summary by August 4.
Justice Pinaki Chandra Ghose, a former Supreme Court judge, led the commission's investigation, which questioned key political figures including former CM K Chandrasekhar Rao and BRS MLA T Harish Rao. The assessment by a panel of secretaries is underway to ensure clarity and transparency ahead of the cabinet review.
