In a sombre acknowledgment of recent tragedies, Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday visited Government Medical College in Jammu. Sinha met with the family of Sub-Divisional Magistrate Rajinder Singh Rana, who, along with his son, fell victim to a landslide near Pattian village.
Expressing heartfelt condolences, Sinha assured the family of the deceased of all possible support from the administration and urged hospital staff to provide the best medical services to Rana's injured wife and daughter. This empathetic outreach highlights governmental commitment in the wake of personal loss.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah traveled to Udhampur, where he conveyed condolences to Senior Superintendent of Police Amod Ashok Nagpure on the tragic death of his young daughter. Abdullah's gesture of solidarity underscores the depth of communal empathy during trying times.
