Tragic Murder-Suicide Shocks Ahmedabad

A tragic incident unfolded in Ahmedabad on Monday where a woman allegedly killed her police constable husband and then took her own life, with their 7-year-old son witnessing the heartbreaking event, an official report reveals.

The incident occurred at the couple's accommodation in Danilimda police line, detailed Deputy Commissioner of Police Ravi Mohan Saini. Initial investigations expose that relations between Mukesh Parmar, stationed at the A Division traffic police, and his wife Sangita were strained.

According to DCP Saini, an altercation erupted during the morning, with the couple's son present. Parmar was fatally struck on the head with a wooden stick, following which Sangita hanged herself. She left a suicide note indicating that marital and financial issues were at the core of their dispute. A deeper investigation into the matter is underway.
