A home guard in Nagpur has allegedly taken his own life by leaping from a flyover, according to police. The tragic event unfolded at 1:30pm on Monday at Pagalkhana Chowk.
The deceased, Yashwant Ramesh Shahu, aged 31, was a resident of Kukreja Nagar, Jaripatka, and was also employed by the MESCO security agency. He reportedly arrived at the location on a motorcycle, parked, and then jumped to his death. Police identified him through the vehicle's registration number.
No suicide note was discovered at the scene, leaving investigators in search of answers. A thorough investigation has been launched to determine the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate event.
