Foiled Heist: Thieves' Attempt to Snatch ATM with SUV Goes Awry

In a surprising turn of events, four thieves attempted to steal an ATM by hauling it away with an SUV in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra. Their plan, however, was unsuccessful, and they fled the scene, according to local police reports released on Tuesday.
The incident unfolded during the early hours of Monday, between 3 am and 4 am, at a State Bank of India ATM. The thieves used a yellow belt to tether the ATM to their vehicle, aiming to take it with them, but their operation was ultimately unsuccessful.
Despite tampering with security cameras and attempting to pry open the cash machine with a screwdriver, the individuals left empty-handed. Following the bank manager's complaint, police have filed a case under sections dealing with theft and related criminal activities.
