Israel Eases Entry of Goods to Gaza for Local Merchants
Israel will increasingly allow goods to enter Gaza through local merchants, as announced by COGAT. This initiative seeks to boost aid volumes and reduce dependence on international aid organizations and the UN.

Israel is set to permit a gradual and controlled entry of goods into Gaza through local merchants, COGAT, the Israeli military agency responsible for coordinating aid, announced on Tuesday.
The decision aims to enhance the volume of aid reaching the Gaza Strip, while decreasing dependency on collection efforts by the United Nations and global organizations.
According to the agency, this move comes as a step towards increasing the economic activities within Gaza and ensuring that aid reaches those who need it most directly.
