A special court in Mumbai has rejected the bail application of Chetan Dilip Paradhi, who stands accused in the murder case of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddiqui.
The MCOCA court judge, Mahesh Jadhav, highlighted Paradhi's alleged membership in an organized crime syndicate and his awareness of plans to assassinate Siddiqui.
Paradhi's involvement was corroborated by a co-accused's confession linking gangster Anmol Bishnoi to the crime, with details of financial transactions and logistical arrangements for the shooters being provided. Despite Paradhi's plea of innocence, the prosecution asserted his role in facilitating the crime.
