Daring Daylight Heist: Bullion Trader Attacked and Robbed

In a daring daylight robbery on Sunday, a bullion trader was brutally attacked and robbed in the vicinity of Koron village, as four armed men orchestrated an audacious heist. Deepak Verma, the trader, was ambushed while on his way to his shop, leading to a series of events that underline the brazen nature of the crime.

As Verma made his way on a motorcycle, he was confronted near the Sasur Khaderi river bridge by the assailants, who arrived on two motorcycles. A struggle ensued as they attempted to snatch a bag full of valuable gold and silver ornaments, and, upon his resistance, the robbers shot him, according to Shivank Singh, the Circle Officer of Manjhanpur.

Verma is currently receiving treatment at the district hospital, while police officials scrutinize CCTV footage from the area for any clues to identify the culprits. Based on Deepak Verma's forthcoming complaint, law enforcement will proceed with filing a formal FIR to escalate the investigation into the robbery.
