In a significant development, two senior leaders from the banned CPI (Maoist) party have surrendered to the Telangana Police. Among them is Kakarala Sunitha alias Badri, a key figure with decades of involvement in the movement, and Chennuri Harish alias Ramanna, a notable member of the Telangana State Committee.
The surrender took place in the presence of Rachakonda Police Commissioner G Sudheer Babu, marking a notable shift in their years-long association with the revolutionary cause.
