The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) accused the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Punjab on Thursday of halting awareness camps dedicated to promoting central government schemes.
During a meeting with Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria, Punjab BJP working president Ashwani Sharma criticized the AAP for allegedly misusing police power to disrupt these initiatives, which were designed to benefit marginalized communities.
The BJP called on the Governor to intervene, insisting that harassment against their workers should cease, and labeled the AAP's actions as unconstitutional and politically motivated.
