China and Pakistan: Strengthening Ties Amidst Regional Challenges
China is committed to cooperating with Pakistan in industry, agriculture, and mining, while reinforcing its support for Pakistan's sovereignty and counter-terrorism efforts. During a meeting in Islamabad, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi emphasized upgrading the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and urged safety for Chinese projects in Pakistan amidst rising security concerns.

China's commitment to strengthening ties with Pakistan was underscored in recent discussions between Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Pakistan's Ishaq Dar. The focus is on collaborative efforts in industry, agriculture, and mining.
Wang Yi reiterated Beijing's pledge to support Pakistan in maintaining its sovereignty and counter-terrorism initiatives. He emphasized the need to upgrade the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and resist unilateral pressures.
Amid recent security concerns, Wang urged Pakistan to ensure the safety of Chinese personnel and projects. This comes as China continues to invest significantly in Pakistan under the Belt and Road Initiative.
