The move comes after the Union Home Ministry initially assigned Z-category cover, which has since been withdrawn as the local police took control. In the aftermath of the attack, two individuals, Rajeshbhai Khimji and his associate Tehseen, have been apprehended. Investigations reveal that the attack was a planned conspiracy, prompting heightened protective measures for the Chief Minister's public appearances.
