Ukraine's military forces have launched striking operations on two pivotal Russian oil refineries, resulting in multiple explosions and subsequent fires. These incidents occurred at the Krasnodar and Syzran refineries.
According to military reports, the Krasnodar refinery, responsible for producing 3 million tonnes of light petroleum products annually within Russia's Krasnodar region, experienced substantial damage. Fire and explosions were recorded, compromising the refinery's operational capabilities.
The Syzran refinery, located in the Samara region and known for its robust processing capacity of 8.5 million tonnes per year, was also engulfed in flames prior to last August. This attack marks a significant escalation in strategic military operations impacting energy resources.
