The Enforcement Directorate has made serious allegations against Chaitanya Baghel, son of former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, accusing him of leading a Rs 2,500 crore liquor scam in Chhattisgarh.

According to the ED's charges, Chaitanya was deeply involved in an organized liquor syndicate from 2019 to 2022, managing the distribution of proceeds and conspiring with other key figures like Anil Tuteja and Anwar Dhebar.

The investigation revealed that Chaitanya used the illicit funds in real estate ventures, while electronic evidence indicated coordination with top officials for fund management and distribution.
