Iran Calls for Diplomatic Goodwill to Avert Nuclear Sanctions
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi will converse with British, French, and German ministers to prevent renewed international sanctions over Tehran's nuclear program. The call discusses U.N. sanctions and conditions set by European powers to delay them. Iran urges European goodwill in ongoing nuclear-related discussions.

Iran is making diplomatic moves as Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi prepares for a significant discussion with the foreign ministers of Britain, France, and Germany. This call on Wednesday aims to forestall the looming reimposition of international sanctions due to Iran's nuclear activities.
The urgency of this dialogue stems from a planned U.N. sanctions snapback, reinitiated by the European powers—Britain, France, and Germany—collectively known as the E3. Iran has called for the E3 to engage with positive intentions and goodwill in this critical conversation.
The dialogue follows steps made last week when Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency agreed to renew cooperation, including nuclear site inspections. This resumed cooperation is one of the conditions required by European countries to delay enacting the automatic reimposition of U.N. Security Council sanctions.
