The Supreme Court-appointed Special Investigation Team (SIT) has dismissed allegations of water resource misuse and carbon credit fraud against the Vantara rescue and rehabilitation center as unfounded, according to a statement by the center.
A bench comprising Justices Pankaj Mithal and P B Varale accepted the SIT's findings, confirming no legal violations by Vantara in its operations in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The investigation found the allegations exaggerated and lacking factual or legal foundation.
