In a significant reshuffle, the Jharkhand government has transferred and reassigned 30 officers within its Indian Police Service (IPS) cadre, according to an official notification. This strategic move aims to bolster law enforcement across the state.

Rakesh Ranjan, previously the Superintendent of Police (SP) in Chaibasa, has been promoted to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) in Ranchi, replacing Chandan Kumar Sinha. Sinha has taken over as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB). The reshuffle also sees Prashant Singh, Director General (DG) of the Wireless wing, assuming additional responsibilities as DG Headquarters.

Among other appointments, Priya Dubey, Additional Director General (ADG) of the Jharkhand Armed Police (JAP), is now tasked with leading the ACB as its ADG. The changes also affect numerous other officials, reshaping roles to enhance operational effectiveness in several law enforcement divisions across Jharkhand.
