In a concerning development, the police in the northern district of Kadampazhipuram have launched an investigation into the disappearance of Prema, a 62-year-old resident, who went missing after becoming a victim of a hefty cyber scam.

The woman, who remains untraceable, was last seen boarding a Kerala State Road Transport Corporation bus in the early hours of September 14, but has since not returned, her absence follows her entanglement in a fraudulent scheme.

CCTV footage has placed her in Guruvayur, but her whereabouts remain unknown as a detailed probe continues to unfold.
