The Delhi Police successfully dismantled a fake visa racket, making a significant arrest in Punjab. They detained an agent, Sarwan Singh, who stand accused of orchestrating a scheme to provide forged UK visas to eager travelers.
The operation came to light when a 22-year-old woman from Kapurthala was detained at the Indira Gandhi International Airport. Her UK visa was identified as counterfeit during a routine check, prompting further investigations.
Singh was apprehended following technical surveillance by airport authorities. The police are currently expanding the probe to track down his associates and investigate similar fraudulent operations.
