The body of Bhagyashree, a missing 20-year-old college student, was found decomposed on a cement factory premises in Sedam taluk's Malkheda area, sparking a murder investigation.
Her father, a union leader at the factory, reported her missing on September 11 after she was last captured on CCTV walking nearby.
Police suspect Manjunath and his relatives, linked to the factory, in her murder over an alleged enmity following a family member's suicide. Efforts are ongoing to apprehend the suspects.
