This directive follows a strategic meeting at the Raj Bhavan, where the governor engaged with top officials, including the Chief Secretary and members of the Treasury and Pension Cell.
The meeting tackled multiple agendas, such as sanctioning, payment of pensions, and overcoming the hurdles causing delays. One significant development is the imminent introduction of an online pension processing system. This state-of-the-art system promises to digitize the full spectrum of the pension process, offering a seamless platform for both employees and departments.
