Reopening of Allenby Crossing: A Vital Link Resumes Operation

The Allenby crossing, which serves as the only land portal between the Israeli-occupied West Bank and Jordan, has resumed operations, according to an Israeli authority spokesperson. This reopening follows a brief closure enforced on September 19.

On that day, the crossing was shuttered after a Jordanian truck driver sparked tragedy by opening fire, tragically resulting in the death of two Israeli soldiers.
