Nagaland Unites: State Services Rally for Pension and Pay Reform

The Confederation of All Nagaland State Services Association (CANSSEA), in conjunction with allied service organizations, rallied on Tuesday in support of the All India State Government Employees Federation's national call for reforms.

Spearheaded by President Zubemo Lotha Tsanglao, CANSSEA's protest addressed key Nagaland-specific demands, including the formation of a State Pay Commission and the scrapping of the New Pension Scheme. They emphasized the need for periodic pay revisions and pension reforms to secure employee futures.

The push for comprehensive health insurance and proper induction criteria mirrored broader calls for good governance. As employees voiced concerns, CANSSEA asserted its commitment to the AISGF's nation-wide efforts, urging the state to heed these pressing demands.
